My tennis journey started at the age of 16 when I decided to quit soccer and focus on tennis full time.By the age of 18, I had risen from #174 to #10 in the nation and received an opportunity to walk on the nationally ranked tennis team at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
During my four years at Carolina, I accomplished many of the personal goals I had set for myself. Not only did I become a regular starter on the team (playing #3 and #4 singles and #1 doubles throughout my college career), but I was a 3-time All-American with 100+ career wins (singles & doubles) and was voted team Captain by my teammates my senior year. More notably, I am the only player in UNC history to achieve the #1 ranking in the nation with 2 different partners (2016 with Brett Clark and 2018 with Will Blumberg). But most rewarding was winning the Indoor National Championship with my teammates in 2017.
Now that I have graduated, I have decided to take the next step and set new goals in my tennis career. It will be a very different journey, without teammates to support me and the infrastructure of a major university athletic program to guide me. As such, I am putting together a team of advisors and supporters as I head out onto the men's professional tennis tour to test myself against the best in the world. I'm setting new goals and will pursue them with the same focus, dedication and energy (both on and off the court) that I did to achieve (and exceed!) my college goals.
All my best,
